THE ISLAND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD

Just outside my window, between a street and a road, a man built his house. He looks like a castaway.

THE HOUND OF THE EMPIRE

You should not sketch the dog of the venezuelan ambassador at the 7th avenue with 85th street in Bogotá, because the police immediately comes to bother.

Under the gray sky of Bogotá, some quick sketches of people exercise in the 7th Avenue Bikeway (ciclovía).

GESTURE DRAWING PRACTICE TOOL

I just stumbled upon a great tool for artists who don't want to get rusty at life drawing but don't have the time to attend classes o hire a model.

It's called GESTURE DRAWING PRACTICE TOOL

You are presented with a series of pictures of people posing. You can choose the length of exposition of each photo (30 seconds to 10 minutes), gender of the model or if you want them nude or fully clothed.

I just did these with photoshop.

There's a long way to go, but I think I am addicted to the thing.

IT ONLY RAINS IN PANAMA

I've been invited to teach a visual communication course in Isthmus University in Panama. It has been raining since the day I arrived so there hasn't been a chance to go out and know a bit of the country. Only the view from my apartment window.
